Hello Everyone!

All students taking Freshman Living Environment for the 2015-2016 school years are required to complete the following assignment. The assignment should be completed over the span of your summer vacation, and will count as a project grade for class. It is imperative that all students complete the work prior to the beginning of the school year (September 8, 2015). Students must arrive to class prepared to discuss the readings in depth.

Dear Parents/Guardians

Student success is the goal of every staff member at the High School for Law, Advocacy and Community Justice.  We are a school that values cooperation, collaboration, hard work, safety and respect.  We work diligently to ensure the success of each student by providing a balanced educational program.  Additionally, we offer academic and social-emotional support for students who may need those services.

The High School for Law is made up of extraordinary students, faculty and staff. Each group contributes in creating a supportive atmosphere that benefits all members of our school community.   Our goal is to see that students are provided with an educational experience that develops their intellect and character. We strive to guarantee that students are provided with an academic experience that prepares them to face the challenges of the 21stCentury to be college ready and to be productive members of society.

We ask for your support and participation in this effort by sending your child to school every day, monitoring homework and progress, and asking your child to share what they learned at school each day.

School begins every day at 8:00am.  The building opens at 7:15am and breakfast is available at that time.  The first day of school is Thursday, September 4, 2014.

Students are expected to wear the school uniform shirt/sweatshirt as their outermost layer every school day.

We would like to provide some important dates for beginning of the year events.

August 28-Augst 29        Students can pick-up Programs/Purchase Uniforms 9:00am-12:00

September 4                      First day of school, school begins at 8:00am

We look forward to working with all the members of the school community.  We want each member of the school community to consider the need for Integrity, Respect, and Accountability in everything we do and say during the school year.
